About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Remote Cloud Security Engineer to join their distributed team, supporting their operations in Kimberley .
Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and maintain security solutions for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and best practices.
• Conduct security assessments of cloud services and infrastructure, identifying and mitigating risks.
• Implement and manage identity and access management (IAM) controls in the cloud.
• Monitor cloud environments for security threats and respond to incidents.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a specialization in cloud security.
• Hands-on experience securing major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency with cloud security tools, IAM, and security automation.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and container security.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, asynchronous environment.
