About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary and experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join their organization, operating entirely in a remote capacity. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions that meet the evolving needs of the business. You will work with cutting-edge cloud technologies, translate complex business requirements into robust technical architectures, and provide expert guidance to engineering teams. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of cloud computing principles and a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions in a distributed, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect comprehensive cloud solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.

• Lead the implementation and migration of applications and infrastructure to the cloud.

• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure best practices, standards, and documentation.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and operations teams on cloud technologies and strategies.

• Evaluate and recommend new cloud services and technologies to enhance performance and capabilities.

• Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and implement effective solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Proven experience (7+ years) as a Cloud Architect or in a similar senior infrastructure role.

• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), including services like EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, Kubernetes, etc.

• Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
