Requirements: • Proven leadership in marketing initiatives at leading L1s or DeFi protocols • 3+ years in marketing, business development, or related fields, preferably in blockchain or fintech • Strong understanding of blockchain technology, especially EVM and Cosmos ecosystems • Experience managing social media and advertising campaigns • Proven ability to manage lead generation and optimize campaigns for ROI • Knowledge of DeFi, NFT, GameFi landscapes • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Experience building and scaling marketing teams for crypto and traditional brands • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Experience in both Web2/traditional finance and crypto marketing is preferred • HTML, CSS, Wordpress skills are a plus Responsibilities: • Develop and execute data-driven marketing campaigns aligned with business milestones • Onboard new users via social platforms like Twitter Spaces and Discord • Organize community events, both virtual and in-person • Coordinate content creation for campaigns and events • Drive user acquisition, retention, and growth • Assess ROI and collaborate on high-value opportunities • Stay informed on market trends and competition • Work cross-functionally to ensure successful product launches • Engage with users and stakeholders for feedback and insights Our focus is on building infrastructure to bring decentralized finance to the masses.

Role Overview: The marketing lead will work closely with Smokey to develop and implement marketing strategies, guide the Berachain brand's evolution, and increase market penetration across traditional finance, Web2, and crypto ecosystems.

Responsibilities include content creation, managing the marketing calendar, and developing go-to-market strategies for product launches and collaborations. Berachain has grown organically without marketing spend, building a community of over 30k on Twitter, 45k on Discord, and NFT holders.

We aim to continue this organic growth while maintaining our community's integrity and accessibility. The candidate should demonstrate their ability to generate exposure opportunities and have experience leading growth or marketing initiatives at major L1 or DeFi protocols.
