About the Role Our client is seeking a proactive and skilled Remote Commercial Accountant to support their growing business operations connected to Richards Bay . In this fully remote role, you will be instrumental in analyzing commercial performance, managing budgets, and providing crucial financial insights to guide business decisions.

This position is ideal for a finance professional who excels in a remote work environment and possesses a strong commercial acumen, enabling them to translate financial data into strategic business recommendations from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities • Analyze commercial performance, profitability, and sales trends, providing actionable insights. • Prepare detailed budgets and forecasts in collaboration with various business units. • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on deviations and trends. • Support pricing strategies and evaluate the financial impact of commercial initiatives. • Manage cost control initiatives and identify areas for efficiency improvements. • Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reports as requested by management.

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field. • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or business analysis roles, ideally within a remote setup. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros) and experience with financial modeling. • Familiarity with ERP systems and business intelligence tools. • Strong commercial understanding, excellent analytical skills, and effective communication for remote collaboration.
