About the Role Our client is looking for an experienced and strategic Communications Manager to lead their public relations efforts entirely from a remote setting.

Based out of Tembisa , you will be pivotal in shaping the company's narrative, managing its online and offline presence, and fostering strong relationships with media and stakeholders globally.

This is a fully remote position offering flexibility and autonomy, allowing you to leverage your expertise to drive brand visibility and positive perception from anywhere.

You will be a key player in developing and executing impactful communication strategies that align with the company's objectives and values, fostering a culture of transparent and effective dialogue.

Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute comprehensive, remote-first communication strategies across all platforms. • Manage all media inquiries, build relationships with journalists, and secure positive press coverage. • Craft compelling press releases, social media content, and internal communications. • Oversee the company's brand messaging and ensure consistency across all communications. • Monitor media landscape and provide strategic insights and recommendations. • Lead crisis communication efforts, providing swift and effective responses.

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications or public relations, with a significant portion in remote roles. • Proven ability to develop and implement successful communication strategies. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adept at crafting engaging content. • Experience in managing media relations and securing media placements. • Proficiency with digital communication tools and remote collaboration platforms.
