Remote Community Manager - Online Gaming

About the Role

Our client is a rapidly growing online gaming company seeking a highly engaged and communicative Remote Community Manager . This position is crucial for fostering a vibrant and supportive community around their popular online games. You will act as the primary liaison between the company and its players, managing online forums, social media channels, and in-game communication. Based entirely remotely, you will champion player feedback, organize community events, and contribute to a positive and inclusive gaming environment for players across the globe, with a focus on engagement within the Free State player base.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute community engagement strategies across various platforms (forums, social media, Discord, in-game).

• Monitor community channels, respond to player inquiries, and facilitate discussions in a timely and professional manner.

• Act as a brand ambassador, fostering a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all players.

• Gather, analyze, and report on community feedback, trends, and sentiment to inform game development and marketing teams.

• Organize and host online community events, contests, and developer Q&A sessions.

• Manage and moderate community spaces to ensure adherence to community guidelines and code of conduct.

Requirements

• Proven experience in community management, social media management, or customer support, preferably in the gaming industry.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

• Deep understanding of online gaming culture, trends, and player motivations.

• Familiarity with various social media platforms and community management tools.

• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
