About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and digitally adept Remote Community Outreach Specialist to drive engagement and service awareness across various communities, primarily serving the Richards Bay region. In this fully remote position, you will be responsible for developing and executing online outreach strategies, managing social media campaigns, and coordinating virtual events to connect individuals with essential community resources. You will play a key part in expanding the reach of our client's services, ensuring that geographically dispersed populations can access the support they need. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to work autonomously in a virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive remote outreach strategies to engage target communities.
• Manage and grow the organization's social media presence, creating compelling content to promote services.
• Organize and facilitate virtual information sessions, webinars, and online community forums.
• Identify and build relationships with online community leaders and influencers.
• Track and report on the effectiveness of outreach initiatives, analyzing key metrics.
• Provide online support and guidance to individuals seeking information about available community services.

Requirements

• Proven experience in digital marketing , community outreach, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and content creation tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging online content.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects remotely.
• Familiarity with the needs and challenges of communities in the KwaZulu-Natal region is a plus.
• Proficiency in using virtual communication and collaboration tools.
