Remote Community Support Officer

Our client is seeking a motivated Remote Community Support Officer to join their dedicated team, serving individuals and communities remotely. This role is essential for providing vital support and guidance to clients who may be geographically dispersed or have mobility limitations. You will leverage digital communication tools and resources to assess needs, offer solutions, and connect individuals with appropriate social services and support networks, regardless of their location. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual needs assessments using phone, video conferencing, and online platforms.
• Provide remote guidance and support to individuals seeking access to social services, healthcare, and educational resources.
• Develop and maintain an up-to-date database of community resources and support services accessible remotely.
• Facilitate online support groups and workshops for community members.
• Document client interactions, progress, and outcomes meticulously in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with the wider team and community partners through digital communication channels.

Requirements

• Degree or relevant qualification in Social Work, Community Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a social support or community outreach role.
• Proven experience with remote client interaction and digital communication tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, suitable for virtual engagement.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload independently.
• Comfortable working from a home office environment with reliable internet connectivity.
