This pivotal role involves overseeing and managing compliance across various regulations and standards to ensure the organization’s operations adhere to legal and ethical guidelines.

As a Remote Compliance Manager, you will safeguard the organization’s integrity and reputation by implementing and monitoring compliance programs, conducting audits, and providing expert guidance on regulatory issues.

Key Responsibilities • Compliance Program Development and Implementation: develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs and policies in line with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards; ensure integration into daily operations; stay updated on regulatory changes and adjust policies accordingly. • Regulatory Monitoring and Reporting: monitor and interpret regulatory changes, assess impact; prepare and submit required regulatory reports with accuracy and timeliness; communicate updates to stakeholders and recommend adjustments. • Auditing and Risk Management: conduct regular compliance audits; identify potential risks; develop and implement strategies to address audit findings and gaps; perform risk assessments and create mitigation plans. • Training and Education: design and deliver compliance training programs; keep materials current; promote a culture of compliance. • Policy and Procedure Management: develop, review, and update organizational policies and procedures; communicate and ensure employee understanding; guide policy implementation. • Incident Management and Investigation: manage and investigate compliance-related incidents; document findings; recommend corrective actions; collaborate with legal and HR to resolve matters and enforce disciplinary actions. • Stakeholder Collaboration: work closely with legal, finance, operations; serve as point of contact for external regulatory bodies and auditors; maintain positive relationships with agencies and industry associations. • Reporting and Documentation: maintain comprehensive records; prepare detailed reports for senior management on compliance performance, audit findings, and risk assessments; ensure proper documentation practices.

Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or related field; Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP)) preferred. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a compliance management role, preferably within a remote or distributed environment. • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to the organization’s operations. • Proven experience developing and implementing compliance programs, conducting audits, and managing compliance risks. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to interpret complex regulations and provide clear guidance. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to train and influence employees at all levels. • Proficiency in compliance management software and tools. • High level of integrity and professionalism; ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.

The Remote Compliance Manager must be available during standard business hours and may require occasional travel for training or meetings.
