Remote Construction Planner & Scheduler

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Construction Planner & Scheduler to join their team on a fully remote basis. You will be instrumental in developing, maintaining, and optimizing project schedules for diverse construction projects across various locations. This role requires exceptional organizational acumen, proficiency in advanced planning software, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams located globally. You will ensure that all projects are meticulously planned to meet deadlines, manage resources efficiently, and anticipate potential scheduling conflicts, all while working from the convenience of your own home office.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed master schedules and rolling wave schedules for construction projects using P6 or similar software.
• Monitor project progress, analyze variances, and provide regular updates on schedule status.
• Identify potential risks and delays, proposing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to gather schedule-related information.
• Assist in the development of resource loading and leveling plans.
• Prepare schedule impact analyses for change orders and claims.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in construction planning and scheduling, preferably with large-scale projects.
• Proficiency in industry-standard scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project lifecycles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote setting.
