Remote Continuous Improvement Lead

About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned and strategic Remote Continuous Improvement Lead to spearhead operational excellence initiatives across their organization, supporting operations historically based in Bloemfontein. This is a fully remote position, requiring a self-driven individual capable of driving change and fostering a culture of improvement through virtual collaboration. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for process enhancement, implementing lean methodologies, and ensuring sustainable improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost reduction. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive continuous improvement strategy aligned with company objectives.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams in the application of Lean, Six Sigma, and other improvement methodologies.
• Identify, prioritize, and implement process improvement projects with measurable impact.
• Facilitate virtual workshops, Kaizen events, and training sessions on continuous improvement principles.
• Establish performance metrics and reporting mechanisms to track progress and ensure sustained gains.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by engaging stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in continuous improvement, operations management, or a related role, with a strong emphasis on Lean and Six Sigma.
• Demonstrated success in leading complex improvement projects and achieving significant business results.
• Exceptional skills in remote leadership, facilitation, and communication.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Experience with project management tools and collaborative software platforms is essential.
