Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to meet organizational financial goals, focusing on major donors, corporate partnerships, and grant applications.
• Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with prospective and existing donors, ensuring consistent communication and engagement.
• Lead the creation of compelling proposals and presentations that effectively articulate the impact of our client's work.
• Collaborate closely with program teams to understand project needs and translate them into fundraising priorities.
• Represent the organization at virtual and in-person (when necessary) fundraising events, conferences, and donor meetings.
• Manage a portfolio of key accounts and develop tailored engagement plans.
• Provide strategic guidance and support to the fundraising team, fostering a culture of success and accountability.
• Analyze fundraising data and trends to optimize strategies and identify new opportunities for revenue growth.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in fundraising, development, or a related role within the non-profit sector, with a significant focus on major gifts and institutional giving.
• Proven success in developing and implementing effective fundraising strategies that have resulted in substantial revenue growth.
• Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse stakeholders remotely.
• Strong understanding of international development issues and the humanitarian aid landscape.
• Experience in managing budgets and financial reporting for development departments.
• Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser's Edge) and other fundraising tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote setting.
• Master's degree in International Relations, Philanthropy, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
