About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary Remote Director of Photography to remotely oversee the visual execution of a diverse range of digital content projects. This role requires an individual with a deep understanding of cinematography, lighting, and camera work who can guide production teams from a distance. You will be instrumental in defining the visual narrative and aesthetic for various media, ensuring a consistent and high-quality look across all outputs. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate remotely with directors and producers to establish the visual style and mood for projects.
• Provide remote guidance on camera selection, lighting techniques, and composition.
• Review footage and dailies remotely, offering constructive feedback to on-site camera teams.
• Develop and maintain detailed shot lists and storyboards in collaboration with the team.
• Ensure all visual elements align with the project's creative goals and brand guidelines.
• Troubleshoot remote visual challenges and propose creative solutions.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Director of Photography with a substantial portfolio of film, television, or commercial work.
• Strong command of cinematography principles, lighting theory, and camera movement.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and provide clear direction remotely.
• Familiarity with various camera systems, lenses, and lighting equipment.
• Excellent understanding of post-production workflows and color grading.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively in a remote setting.
