About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Dispatch and Logistics Coordinator to manage their transportation operations from a remote setting, supporting operations in Klerksdorp and beyond. This role is central to ensuring the efficient flow of goods, managing driver schedules, and optimizing delivery routes. You will leverage technology to communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal stakeholders, playing a critical part in maintaining seamless supply chain operations across various regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule daily deliveries and pick-ups for a fleet of drivers.
• Utilize dispatch software and GPS tracking systems to monitor vehicle locations and progress.
• Communicate effectively with drivers via phone and digital platforms, providing instructions and support.
• Optimize delivery routes for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely arrival.
• Liaise with clients to confirm delivery details and resolve any logistical issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities, driver performance, and delivery exceptions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in logistics, dispatch, or transportation coordination.
• Excellent knowledge of dispatch software and GPS tracking systems.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, suitable for a remote environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively from a remote location.
• Familiarity with the North West province's geography is a plus.
