About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Remote Dispatch and Logistics Officer to join their team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to manage logistical operations from the comfort of your home office. You will be responsible for coordinating delivery schedules, tracking shipments, and ensuring efficient communication between drivers, clients, and the operations team. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize daily dispatch schedules for a fleet of delivery vehicles.
• Monitor the real-time location and status of all ongoing deliveries.
• Act as the primary point of contact for drivers, providing support and updates.
• Liaise with customers to confirm delivery details and resolve any issues.
• Maintain accurate electronic records of all logistical activities and shipments.
• Identify and implement improvements to dispatch and routing efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in logistics coordination, dispatch, or a similar operational role.
• Excellent command of communication tools and logistics software.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with South African road networks is an advantage.
