About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Remote Distribution Planner to manage and optimize the flow of goods for their operations supporting Paarl, Western Cape . This fully remote position involves creating efficient distribution plans, coordinating with transportation partners, and ensuring timely delivery of products to various destinations. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive distribution plans that meet service level agreements and cost targets.
• Coordinate with internal teams, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure smooth transportation operations.
• Monitor shipment progress, proactively identify potential delays, and implement contingency plans.
• Analyze distribution data to identify trends, optimize routes, and improve overall network efficiency.
• Manage transportation budgets and seek opportunities for cost savings without compromising service quality.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and documentation requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in distribution planning, transportation management, or logistics coordination.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles and logistics networks.
• Proficiency in using transportation management systems (TMS) and other logistics software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
