About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and efficient Remote Distribution Specialist to manage and optimize distribution channels from a remote location. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the end-to-end distribution process, including order processing, shipping, and tracking.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse and inventory management for efficient distribution.
- Collaborate with logistics partners and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels across all distribution points and proactively address any shortages or excesses.
- Analyze distribution performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies governing distribution and warehousing.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Distribution Specialist , Warehouse Manager, or in a related logistics role.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, warehousing, and transportation principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of implementing process improvements.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics software.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, essential for effective remote collaboration.
