You will be instrumental in selecting drilling equipment, developing drilling programs, and managing drilling risks. Key Responsibilities

• Design and plan drilling programs, including casing and cementing strategies, mud programs, and directional surveys.
• Select appropriate drilling equipment and technologies to optimize operational efficiency and safety.
• Oversee and monitor drilling operations remotely, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for potential drilling hazards.
• Manage drilling contractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Analyze drilling performance data and implement improvements for future operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in drilling engineering, including significant offshore or unconventional experience.
• Proficiency in drilling simulation software and interpretation of drilling data.
• Strong understanding of drilling fluids , well control principles, and completion technologies.
• Excellent project management and decision-making skills, particularly in a remote context.
• Ability to communicate effectively with rig crews, service providers, and management.
