About the Role

This position operates on a fully remote basis, focusing on the design, implementation, and optimization of drilling fluid systems. You will work closely with drilling engineers and rig crews to ensure fluid performance meets operational requirements, enhances wellbore stability, and minimizes drilling risks. Key Responsibilities

• Design drilling fluid programs tailored to specific well conditions and geological formations.
• Provide real-time technical support to drilling operations, troubleshooting fluid-related issues.
• Monitor fluid properties and performance, recommending adjustments as needed.
• Analyze drilling fluid samples and laboratory test results.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainable fluid practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a drilling fluids engineer , with significant hands‑on field experience.
• In-depth knowledge of drilling fluid chemistry, properties, and additives.
• Familiarity with mud logging data and its interpretation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and remote communication skills.
