About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and responsive Remote Driver Support Specialist to provide essential assistance to their fleet drivers, working entirely from home to support operations near Kimberley . This role is vital for ensuring drivers have the support they need to perform their duties safely and efficiently. You will be the primary point of contact for addressing driver inquiries, resolving on-road issues, providing guidance on procedures, and ensuring compliance with company policies. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with strong communication skills to contribute to driver satisfaction and operational smoothness in a fully remote capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and effective support to drivers via phone, email, and messaging platforms.
- Assist drivers with troubleshooting issues related to routes, vehicle problems, and delivery logistics.
- Ensure drivers understand and adhere to company policies, safety guidelines, and delivery protocols.
- Document all driver interactions, issues, and resolutions accurately in the support system.
- Collaborate with dispatch and operations teams to resolve complex driver challenges.
- Contribute to the development of FAQs and training materials for drivers based on common inquiries.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer service, support, or dispatch role, preferably within the transportation industry.
- Excellent communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Proficiency with standard office software and comfortable learning new support tools.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously.
