About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and strategic Remote E-commerce Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day functioning of their online store. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless order fulfillment, inventory management, customer service, and logistical operations, all managed remotely. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a distributed team environment. You will work to optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance the overall customer experience. This is a critical role for maintaining and improving the efficiency of our client's e-commerce business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize all aspects of e-commerce operations, including order processing, fulfillment, shipping, and returns.
- Manage inventory levels across all SKUs, implementing strategies to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and shipping carriers.
- Implement and refine customer service policies and procedures to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for cost savings.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance the scalability and efficiency of e-commerce operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce operations or supply chain management.
- Proven experience managing remote teams and operations.
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems, WMS, and OMS.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proficiency in e-commerce platforms and related software.
