About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote E-commerce SEO Specialist to drive organic search visibility and traffic for their online retail platform. In this fully remote position, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive SEO strategies, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO, to improve search engine rankings and increase qualified leads and sales. You will work closely with content creators, developers, and the marketing team to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all aspects of the website and digital presence. This role is ideal for a proactive SEO professional who thrives on data analysis and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and market trend analysis to identify opportunities for improving organic search performance for e-commerce.
• Develop and implement effective on-page and off-page SEO strategies, including content optimization, link building, and technical SEO improvements.
• Perform regular technical SEO audits to identify and resolve website issues that may impact search engine crawling, indexing, and ranking.
• Collaborate with the web development team to implement SEO recommendations and ensure the website is technically optimized for search engines.
• Monitor and analyze website traffic, keyword rankings, and other SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest search engine algorithms and SEO best practices, adapting strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge in online retail.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an SEO Specialist with a strong focus on e-commerce websites.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing SEO strategies that have resulted in significant improvements in organic search rankings and traffic.
• Proficiency in using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
• Strong understanding of technical SEO, including site architecture, schema markup, and mobile optimization.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with remote teams and present findings and recommendations.
