About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop tournament formats, rulesets, and schedules for various e-sports titles, ensuring fairness and competitive integrity.
• Oversee the entire tournament lifecycle, from initial planning and participant registration to final competition and results tabulation.
• Manage online platforms and tools necessary for tournament operation, including matchmaking, communication channels, and scorekeeping.
• Coordinate with game publishers and developers for licensing, technical support, and game-specific updates relevant to tournaments.
• Liaise with casters, production teams, and streaming platforms to ensure high-quality broadcast delivery of e-sports events.
• Manage prize pools, ensure timely distribution to winners, and handle any financial reconciliation related to tournaments.
• Develop and enforce tournament rules, adjudicating disputes and making decisions to maintain fair play.
• Create engaging content and communications for participants and the e-sports community throughout the tournament cycle.
• Collaborate with marketing and community management teams to promote events and drive viewership.
• Stay abreast of trends, innovations, and emerging games within the global e-sports landscape.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in organizing and managing e-sports tournaments or similar competitive online gaming events.
• Deep understanding of various popular e-sports titles, their game mechanics, and competitive scenes.
• Proven ability to develop fair and engaging tournament formats and rulesets.
• Experience with e-sports tournament management platforms (e.g., Battlefy, Toornament, Challengermode).
• Strong organizational, logistical, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Familiarity with live streaming platforms (Twitch, YouTube Gaming) and broadcast production workflows is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines in a remote setting.
