About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and innovative Remote Early Childhood Development Consultant to provide expert guidance and support to their network of childcare providers in the Western Cape region and beyond. This role involves developing best-practice frameworks, delivering virtual training sessions, and offering bespoke consultancy services to enhance the quality of early learning programs. You will leverage your extensive knowledge to advise on curriculum development, pedagogical approaches, and regulatory compliance. This position is fully remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to make a significant impact on early childhood education standards across various institutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine early childhood education curricula and pedagogical strategies for diverse age groups.
• Deliver engaging and informative virtual training workshops and webinars for educators and childcare staff.
• Provide remote consultancy services, offering tailored advice on improving program quality and operational efficiency.
• Stay abreast of the latest research, trends, and regulatory changes in early childhood development and education.
• Create resources, toolkits, and best-practice guides for childcare providers.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and provide data-driven recommendations for enhancement.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in early childhood education, including curriculum development and program management.
• Proven experience in delivering training and consultancy, preferably in a remote or online setting.
• Exceptional understanding of child development theories, learning sciences, and educational best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with virtual collaboration tools and learning management systems.
