Remote Early Years Curriculum Developer

Our client is looking for an innovative and experienced Remote Early Years Curriculum Developer to join their team, working from anywhere in South Africa . This role focuses on designing and creating engaging, play-based learning materials and digital content for children aged 3-6 years. You will be instrumental in shaping the educational framework for our client's online learning platform, ensuring it is stimulating, developmentally appropriate, and fun. This position requires a deep understanding of early childhood education principles and the ability to translate them into creative and effective digital learning experiences, working independently and collaboratively with a distributed team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop a comprehensive, play-based curriculum for early years (ages 3-6) for an online platform.
• Create engaging digital learning content, including interactive activities, lesson plans, and educational games.
• Research and incorporate the latest trends and best practices in early childhood education into curriculum design.
• Collaborate with instructional designers, graphic artists, and subject matter experts to produce high‑quality learning materials.
• Ensure all curriculum content aligns with national educational standards and learning objectives.
• Evaluate and revise curriculum based on user feedback and learning analytics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education , Educational Psychology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in curriculum development, specifically for early years education.
• Strong understanding of child development theories and pedagogical approaches.
• Excellent writing, editing, and content creation skills, with a focus on digital formats.
• Experience working remotely and managing projects independently.
• Proficiency with online learning platforms and content creation tools is a plus.
