This role is key to developing next-generation power conversion and management solutions for a variety of advanced applications. The position requires a deep theoretical understanding and practical experience in high-frequency power conversion, control, and component selection, contributing to the innovation pipeline of cutting-edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, simulate, and develop power electronic converters (e.g., AC-DC, DC-DC, DC-AC) for demanding applications.
• Select appropriate passive and active components, considering performance, cost, and reliability.
• Conduct detailed analysis, including thermal management, EMI/EMC considerations, and stability.
• Develop test plans and methodologies for prototype validation and performance characterization.
• Collaborate effectively with firmware engineers, mechanical engineers, and product managers remotely.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in power semiconductor devices and converter topologies.
Requirements
• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Electronics.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in power electronics design and development.
• Proficiency with simulation tools such as LTspice, PSpice, MATLAB/Simulink.
• In-depth knowledge of magnetics design, control strategies for power converters, and gate driver design.
• Experience with PCB layout for high-power density applications.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects independently.
