About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Remote Electrical Systems Analyst to support their operations across various regions. This role involves the in-depth analysis, modeling, and optimization of complex electrical systems from a remote location. You will play a key role in identifying performance bottlenecks, ensuring system stability, and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of electrical systems, including load flow, fault studies, and transient stability simulations.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated electrical system models using industry-standard software.
- Evaluate the impact of new loads or system configurations on overall grid performance.
- Identify areas for improvement in system efficiency, reliability, and power quality.
- Prepare detailed reports and technical recommendations based on analytical findings.
- Provide expert remote technical support and consultation to grid operators and planning teams.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.
- 7+ years of experience in electrical systems analysis and simulation.
- Expertise in power system analysis software (e.g., PSS/E, PowerWorld, ETAP, DIgSILENT).
- Strong understanding of power system fundamentals, including generation, transmission, and distribution.
- Proven ability to work independently and deliver high-quality analytical work remotely.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
