About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented Remote Electrical Systems Design Engineer to join their innovative team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to leverage your expertise in electrical system design from the comfort of your home office. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and documenting electrical systems for a range of sophisticated projects, ensuring they meet stringent performance, safety, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical system designs, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout plans.
• Select appropriate electrical components, hardware, and software based on project requirements.
• Perform calculations for power distribution, load balancing, and fault analysis.
• Ensure designs comply with all applicable industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
• Create and manage comprehensive design documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Collaborate effectively with remote cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and project managers, through virtual communication tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical systems design and engineering.
• Proficiency in electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical).
• Strong understanding of electrical principles, power distribution, control systems, and component integration.
• Experience with virtual collaboration tools and remote project management is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills for a remote role.
