This position is critical for advising businesses on all aspects of South African employment law, ensuring compliance, and mitigating risks associated with employee relations. You will work closely with clients to navigate complex employment legislation, develop HR policies, and handle disputes effectively.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide expert legal advice on the Code of Good Practice, BCEA, LRA, EEA, and other employment legislation.
• Assist clients in drafting and reviewing employment contracts, disciplinary codes, and HR policies.
• Advise on dispute resolution, including disciplinary hearings, grievance procedures, and CCMA/Bargaining Council matters.
• Conduct legal research and provide updates on changes in employment law relevant to businesses.
• Develop and deliver training sessions to clients on employment law compliance and best practices.
• Support clients in managing complex employee relations issues and terminations in Port Elizabeth and nationally.
Requirements
• Admitted Attorney with a strong focus on employment law , or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience advising clients on South African employment law matters.
• Excellent understanding of labour legislation, case law, and practical application.
• Strong communication, advisory, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in conducting legal research and drafting legal documentation remotely.
