Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer BESS configurations, including component selection (batteries, inverters, BMS).
• Develop control strategies and algorithms for optimal BESS operation and integration with renewable sources.
• Conduct system modeling, simulation, and performance analysis for energy storage projects.
• Collaborate with project teams, manufacturers, and clients on technical specifications and implementation plans.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to BESS hardware and software.
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in the energy storage industry.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on energy storage.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the design and implementation of energy storage systems.
• Strong understanding of battery chemistries, power electronics, and grid integration principles.
• Proficiency in BESS simulation software (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, HOMER) and control system design.
• Experience with project management and system integration.
