Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large datasets related to energy production, consumption, and market trends to identify key insights.
  • Develop and maintain predictive models for energy demand forecasting and resource availability.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management, highlighting findings and recommending strategic actions.
  • Monitor the performance of various energy systems and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reduction.
  • Collaborate virtually with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and finance, to support energy initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the energy sector.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the energy industry .
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Experience with energy market dynamics, grid operations, and power systems is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills , with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment .
