Our client is seeking an experienced Remote Equipment Installation Advisor to provide expert virtual guidance and support for installations happening remotely and affecting clients in the Upington, Northern Cape region. This role is designed for a highly knowledgeable individual who can effectively guide clients and installation partners through complex setup procedures without being physically present. Key Responsibilities

• Provide detailed, step-by-step remote guidance for equipment installations, ensuring adherence to specifications.
• Troubleshoot installation challenges encountered by clients or partners via video calls, phone, and remote access tools.
• Develop and update installation guides, checklists, and best practice documentation for remote use.
• Review installation progress reports, photos, and videos to ensure quality and compliance.
• Advise on optimal equipment configuration and setup based on client requirements and environmental factors.
• Act as a key liaison between clients, installation partners, and internal technical teams for installation-related queries.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in equipment installation and setup , with a strong technical background.
• Proven ability to guide others through complex technical processes remotely.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, tailored for remote interaction.
• Proficiency with virtual collaboration tools, remote diagnostics, and relevant software.
• Strong understanding of technical documentation and the ability to create clear instructional materials.
• Self-disciplined and capable of working effectively with minimal supervision in a remote setup.
