About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and technically proficient Remote Equipment Installation Specialist to join their innovative team, supporting installations across various regions, including potentially Kimberley . In this fully remote role, you will provide expert guidance and support to clients as they install and set up sophisticated equipment, utilizing advanced remote tools and communication platforms. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that installations are executed accurately, efficiently, and in line with our client's high standards, enabling successful deployments without direct on-site presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide clients remotely through the step-by-step process of installing and configuring new equipment.
- Provide live technical support via video calls, phone, and chat to resolve installation challenges in real-time.
- Develop clear, concise remote installation guides and troubleshoot common setup issues.
- Verify the correct assembly and initial setup of equipment through client-led checks and remote diagnostics.
- Collaborate with the sales and technical support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from sale to operation.
- Maintain detailed records of remote installation sessions, client feedback, and any encountered technical difficulties.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical installation, equipment setup, or a related field, with a strong capability for remote support.
- Excellent understanding of complex mechanical, electrical, or IT systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to users with varying technical abilities.
- Proficiency with remote access and diagnostic software, video conferencing tools, and CRM systems.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude and the ability to think critically under pressure.
