About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Remote Event Planner with a strong focus on catering logistics. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing successful catering events from start to finish. You will liaise with clients to understand their vision, source appropriate catering services, manage budgets, and ensure seamless execution. Key Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand event requirements, themes, and catering needs.
• Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, budgets, and vendor selections.
• Source and manage relationships with caterers, venues, and other event suppliers remotely.
• Oversee the entire event planning process, from initial concept to on-site execution coordination.
• Ensure all events are delivered within budget and to the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.
• Proactively manage risks and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the planning or execution phases.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Event Planner , with a significant portion focused on catering and food service events.
• Exceptional organizational, project management, and multitasking skills.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially for remote interactions.
• Proficiency with event planning software and virtual collaboration tools.
