About the Role

This role will be based entirely from home, focusing on designing, planning, and executing memorable events for clients nationwide. You will be the main point of contact, managing all aspects from concept development and vendor selection to budget management and on-site (or remote) coordination. Key Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand event objectives, themes, and specific catering requirements.
• Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, budgets, and detailed logistical arrangements.
• Source, negotiate with, and manage external vendors, particularly caterers, ensuring alignment with event vision and budget.
• Oversee the design and execution of event aesthetics, including decor and spatial planning.
• Manage client communication throughout the planning process, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
• Ensure all events are executed flawlessly, adhering to safety standards and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Event Planner , with a significant portion focused on catering and food service events.
• Exceptional organizational, project management, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing vendor relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at virtual collaboration.
• Proficiency in event planning software and virtual collaboration tools.
