About the Role

Our client, a leading innovator in bespoke catering experiences, is looking for a strategic and visionary Remote Executive Catering Director. This is a fully remote leadership role responsible for defining and executing the company's catering strategy across all operational regions. You will lead a distributed team of catering professionals, drive culinary innovation, manage high-level client relationships, and oversee the financial performance of the catering division. The ideal candidate is a seasoned hospitality leader with a proven track record in strategic management, operational excellence, and a deep understanding of the catering landscape. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive catering strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a remote team of catering managers, chefs, and operational staff.
• Drive culinary innovation, overseeing menu development and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
• Manage key client relationships, negotiating contracts and ensuring client satisfaction at the executive level.
• Oversee the financial performance of the catering division, including P&L management, budgeting, and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards across all operational areas.
• Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and market trends.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to enhance brand presence and service offerings.
• Implement and refine operational processes to optimize efficiency and scalability for remote operations.
• Champion a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the catering team.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in the catering or hospitality industry, with at least 5 years in a director-level role.
• Proven track record in developing and executing successful catering strategies and managing large-scale operations.
• Exceptional financial acumen, including experience with P&L management, budgeting, and strategic financial planning.
• Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and manage remote teams effectively.
• Deep understanding of culinary trends, food safety regulations, and operational best practices.
• Experience in managing high-profile client accounts and negotiating complex contracts.
• Proficiency in using advanced catering management software, CRM systems, and virtual collaboration tools.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is a strong asset.
• Ability to work autonomously and lead effectively in a fully remote capacity.
