About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and manage large geological, geochemical, and geophysical datasets from various exploration projects.
• Develop and implement analytical workflows and algorithms for data processing and interpretation.
• Create clear and informative data visualizations, maps, and reports to communicate findings to geological and management teams.
• Identify trends, anomalies, and potential areas of interest for mineral exploration based on data analysis.
• Collaborate remotely with geologists and other stakeholders to provide data-driven support for exploration targeting.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies in data analytics and geological interpretation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Geology, Geophysics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within the mining or exploration sector.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Python (Pandas, Matplotlib), R, SQL, or similar.
• Experience with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and geological modeling software is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
