About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Exploration Geochemist for a fully remote position, focusing on identifying and evaluating new mineral prospects. You will analyze geochemical data from various exploration projects globally, providing critical insights into potential resource discoveries. This role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of geochemical signatures associated with different ore deposit types. You will work independently and collaborate with remote geological and exploration teams, utilizing advanced analytical tools and techniques to guide our client's exploration strategy. Key Responsibilities

• Design and interpret geochemical exploration surveys (soil, stream sediment, rock chip, and drill core analysis).
• Analyze and model geochemical data using specialized software to identify mineralization targets.
• Develop and manage geochemical sampling protocols to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Collaborate with remote exploration teams to integrate geochemical data with other geological datasets.
• Provide expert advice on the interpretation of geochemical results and their implications for exploration strategies.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in geochemical exploration techniques and technologies.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Geochemistry, Geology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in mineral exploration geochemistry.
• Expertise in multivariate statistical analysis and geochemical data modeling.
• Proficiency with geochemical data management and visualization software (e.g., ioGAS, GCDKit).
• Strong understanding of various ore deposit types and their geochemical footprints.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills for a remote working environment.
