About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Remote Facility Hygiene Specialist to oversee and enhance hygiene standards across their national operations, with a primary focus on Mahikeng and surrounding regions. This position requires a strategic thinker adept at developing and implementing comprehensive hygiene protocols, conducting remote assessments, and ensuring regulatory compliance without physical site presence. You will be instrumental in driving a culture of cleanliness and safety through innovative remote management strategies and expert guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage nationwide hygiene and sanitation protocols for various facility types.
• Conduct remote audits and assessments of cleaning standards and practices using virtual tools and reporting mechanisms.
• Provide expert guidance and training to on-site cleaning teams and facility managers via virtual platforms.
• Stay abreast of and ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Analyze hygiene performance data and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage relationships with external hygiene consultants and regulatory bodies as needed.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in hygiene management , sanitation, or environmental health, ideally within a multi-site or remote management context.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective cleaning and hygiene strategies.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in sanitation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and remote collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in utilizing technology for remote monitoring, assessment, and reporting.
