Key Responsibilities

• Design and plan fiber optic network layouts, including cable routes, splicing points, and equipment placement.
• Perform network analysis and capacity planning to identify areas for improvement and expansion.
• Develop technical specifications and project plans for fiber optic network deployments and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fiber optic network performance and connectivity.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in fiber optic technology and recommend new solutions.
• Collaborate virtually with field teams, engineers, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Degree or relevant technical diploma in Telecommunications or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience with fiber optic network design and deployment.
• Strong understanding of fiber optic principles, including different cable types, connectors, and testing methods.
• Proficiency with network design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS software).
• Experience with optical network equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
