We have immediate opportunities available in Galiwin’ku, Milingimbi, and Ramingining for doctors who are passionate about delivering high-quality primary healthcare and making a meaningful difference in Aboriginal communities.

These roles involve working in remote Aboriginal communities and require a strong commitment to Aboriginal Community Control, self-determination, and culturally safe healthcare delivery. Experience in general practice and/or rural and remote healthcare is highly desirable.

You will provide essential care to communities across East Arnhem Land and work alongside experienced clinicians and external health service providers. What do you need to apply? Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) and Fellow of the RACGP, ACRRM or equivalent.

Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, values and beliefs. Demonstrated skills and ability to communicate sensitively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people from different cultural backgrounds.

Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of issues effecting the health and well being of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in contemporary society.
