About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive Remote Fleet Dispatch Coordinator to manage and optimize their transportation operations from a remote setting. Based out of the Benoni region, you will be responsible for coordinating drivers, scheduling deliveries, and ensuring the efficient movement of goods across various locations.
You will play a critical role in enhancing delivery performance and customer satisfaction by leveraging technology and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and coordinate a fleet of drivers and vehicles using dispatch software.
• Schedule and assign deliveries and pickups, optimizing routes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor driver progress and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders in real-time.
• Troubleshoot and resolve logistical issues, such as delays or vehicle problems, remotely.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatched loads, driver activities, and delivery confirmations.
• Liaise with clients, warehouses, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
