About the Role

Our client is searching for a dedicated and proactive Remote Fleet Dispatch Officer to manage and coordinate the daily activities of their transport fleet from a distance. This role is critical for ensuring the timely and efficient movement of goods, acting as the central communication hub between drivers, clients, and management. You will leverage technology to monitor operations, resolve issues, and optimize dispatch schedules, contributing to the overall success of our logistics network. Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily dispatch operations, assigning routes and schedules to drivers using dispatch software.
• Monitor fleet activities in real-time using GPS tracking systems and provide necessary support to drivers.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, addressing queries, providing instructions, and resolving immediate operational challenges.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding delivery schedules, updates, and any unforeseen delays.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatched loads, driver hours, and performance metrics.
• Proactively identify potential logistical issues and implement solutions to ensure on-time deliveries.

Requirements

• Proven experience in fleet dispatching or a similar role within the transportation and logistics industry.
• Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and other relevant logistics technologies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively in a remote setting.
