Remote Fleet Manager - Virtual Operations

Our client is seeking an experienced Remote Fleet Manager to oversee their transportation fleet operations from a virtual standpoint, ideally based in the Stellenbosch region. This critical role involves managing vehicle maintenance schedules, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing fleet performance, and coordinating with drivers and service providers. You will leverage technology and communication tools to maintain the highest standards of operational efficiency and safety, all while working in a fully remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the company's vehicle fleet, including scheduling maintenance, repairs, and inspections, all managed remotely.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, licensing, and insurance requirements.
• Monitor fleet performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement in fuel efficiency, vehicle utilization, and operational costs.
• Coordinate with drivers to ensure adherence to safety protocols and delivery schedules.

Requirements
