About the Role

Our client is looking for a seasoned and strategic Remote Fleet Operations Manager to oversee their national vehicle fleet. This position requires a dynamic individual capable of managing all aspects of fleet operations, maintenance, and driver management from a remote location. You will be instrumental in driving efficiency, ensuring compliance, and reducing operational costs across the entire fleet. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the overall management of the company's national fleet
• Oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance, repair schedules, and cost control measures.
• Manage and lead a remote team of fleet supervisors and drivers, fostering a culture of safety and performance.
• Ensure compliance with all national transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Analyze fleet performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage vendor relationships for fuel, maintenance, insurance, and other fleet-related services.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet operations management , preferably with a national scope.
• Demonstrated experience in remote team leadership and management.
• In-depth knowledge of fleet maintenance, safety regulations, and logistics best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in fleet management software.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Management, or a related field is highly desirable.
