About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and user-centric Remote Game UX Designer to join their distributed development team. You will be instrumental in shaping intuitive and engaging player experiences by conducting user research, creating wireframes, prototyping interfaces, and advocating for the player throughout the development cycle. This role is crucial for ensuring our games are accessible, enjoyable, and easy to navigate for a global audience, working collaboratively with designers, artists, and producers in a fully remote setting. You will champion best practices in user experience design and contribute directly to the success of our titles.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions.
• Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for game interfaces and systems.
• Collaborate with game designers and product managers to define and refine user experience goals.
• Translate complex game mechanics into clear, intuitive user interfaces.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UX Designer , with a focus on games or interactive entertainment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing UX design process, research, and deliverables.
• Proficiency with UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Deep understanding of user psychology, interaction design, and usability principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective remote teamwork.
