About the Role

Working remotely, you will be responsible for developing and executing sophisticated trading strategies, analyzing market data, and managing risk in the dynamic natural gas market. This role requires a deep understanding of gas supply and demand fundamentals, market structures, and derivative instruments. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and implement quantitative trading strategies for the natural gas market.
• Analyze market data, including prices, volumes, weather, and geopolitical events, to identify opportunities.
• Manage and monitor trading positions, ensuring adherence to risk limits.
• Collaborate with traders and risk managers to refine strategies and market views.

Requirements

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantitative analysis or trading strategy development, specifically within the natural gas market.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or R for quantitative modeling.
• Deep understanding of energy market fundamentals, trading mechanisms, and risk management.
• Proven ability to analyze complex datasets and derive actionable trading insights.
