Remote Geologist - Exploration

Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Remote Geologist specializing in exploration to join their globally distributed team. This position offers the unique opportunity to contribute to significant discovery projects from the comfort of your own home office, with occasional travel required for site visits. You will be responsible for analyzing geological data, interpreting geophysical surveys, and generating targets for exploration drilling. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret regional and local geological, geochemical, and geophysical data.
• Generate and prioritize exploration targets based on detailed data analysis and geological modeling.
• Develop exploration programs and strategies, including planning for drilling campaigns.
• Collaborate remotely with field geologists, mine geologists, and management teams.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and summaries of exploration findings for management.
• Stay abreast of the latest exploration technologies and methodologies.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Geology or Earth Sciences with a focus on economic geology or exploration.
• A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in mineral exploration.
• Proven ability to interpret complex geological and geophysical datasets using industry-standard software (e.g., Leapfrog, ArcGIS, GFx).
• Experience in designing and managing exploration programs.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to travel internationally for site visits and project meetings as needed.
