Remote Geologist - Resource Exploration

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Geologist to join their dynamic exploration team. This position is integral to identifying and evaluating new mineral resource potential across various geological terrains. You will be responsible for analyzing geological data, interpreting survey results, and contributing to exploration strategy development, all while working remotely from your chosen location. This role requires a self-starter with excellent analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with field teams and senior management via digital platforms. You will play a key part in discovering the next generation of valuable mineral deposits.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of geological data, including core samples, geophysical surveys, and geochemical assays.
• Utilize advanced geological modeling software to interpret subsurface structures and identify ore body targets .
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports detailing exploration findings, resource estimations, and recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with field exploration teams to guide drilling programs and site investigations.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in geological exploration techniques and technologies.
• Contribute to the strategic planning and prioritization of exploration projects globally.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology or a related Earth Science discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mineral exploration geology, with a strong focus on data analysis and interpretation.
• Proficiency in geological software such as Leapfrog, ArcGIS, or similar 3D modeling tools .
• Experience with various geological datasets, including drilling, geophysics, and geochemistry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively in a remote work environment .
