About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Remote Helpdesk Support Analyst to provide comprehensive technical assistance to their distributed workforce. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and resolving user issues efficiently, all from a remote setting. You will be the primary point of contact for technical support requests, leveraging your troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve problems across various hardware and software platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-level technical support to end-users via remote tools (phone, email, chat, remote desktop).
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and printer issues for employees.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop operating systems and applications.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access to network resources.
• Document all support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions accurately in the ticketing system.
• Contribute to the knowledge base by creating and updating support articles and FAQs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a remote helpdesk or technical support role, preferably with certifications like CompTIA A+ or Network+.
• Strong technical proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills for effective remote user interaction.
• Must have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office space, ensuring productivity and confidentiality.
• Familiarity with ITIL best practices is a significant plus for this remote position in Randburg .
